So the Cats stomped the Bucs of ETSU. Great game had by all, and the Cats have really rounded into form at the right time. The upsets have continued tonight as teh Bobcats of Ohio destroy John Thompson the VIII Hoyas. I may have lost one of my sweet sixteen with that game, but I never mind seeing a non-UK related upset in March. The question now is if the Cats will be playing WFU or the Longhorns. Either way, I don't think either can hang if the Cats continue their shooting as they did tonight.
Luckily the game was out of hand late in the second half. MJ and I had a little chastising from the Boss. Something about picking up. Why does this always happen during an important game. If course, i didn't dare look at the growing DVR clock on the T.V. as to make matters worse. Just grin and bear it. Oh well, Cats won, and it's looking like it's going to be the Demon Deacons and the Cats squaring off Saturday night.
Something to ponder, Baylor has the tournament's all name team with LaceDarius, Tweety, Ekpe.

Laid Off Manny
So, I was laid off on Monday. Now, I'm just another laid off drug rep looking for work. A dime a dozen, right? I have to say though, I can't think if a better time for a college sports fan to be stuck at home unemployed. I am sitting at home watching Vandy and Murray State battle back and forth, after watching Florida and Baylor go to double overtime and Nova and Robert Morris also go into OT. I love March Madness!!! I mean, technically I'm getting paid right now with my severance, so I have told my wife that when I took the last three days to fill out my bracket that I am in a sense like an analyst. She did't buy it. So, I must say, I guess I'll have plenty of time to write, something I've been wanting to get back into since my days as a food critic ended a couple of years ago. There should be more to come later, unless I get too busy watching the Cats tonight. GO BIG BLUE!!!
