This blog is about my life. Nothing more, nothing less. I thought that "Take the Fam" made for a good title because that's what we do. We love to travel, and "take the fam" wherever we go. Also, my friends have always made fun of my stories most of which begin with the word "So", and my ability to turn a short story into a long one. So, that is how most of this collection of rambling thoughts and events will begin. I hope you enjoy!

So, today would have been Chase's 27th birthday. Coincidentally, it is also the Marine Corps' 235th birthday. To the few and the proud, thank you for 235 years. Chase, I miss you and love you. Happy Birthday!
